The team at EnCompass have extensive experience with all aspects of project work, including planning and project development, funding aquisition, coordination, monitoring and evaluation. We provide support to our clients for the following project phases:

Planning and Project Development

EnCompass Consultants use a variety of tools to help your organization or group to assess the needs, scope, approach and methods best suited for your project. Based on this information, we work with you to develop a plan and, if needed, a funding proposal. Included in the overall plan is a clearly defined project workplan outlining specific project outcomes and outputs, roles and responsibilities and project timeline. These pieces serve as a solid foundation for project monitoring and evaluation strategies.

Project Coordination

Working in alignment with project decision-makers, such as organizational or community leaders and advisory groups, EnCompass Consultants provides project coordination services, including: management of personnel; budget allocation and management; liaison with key agencies; supervision of project outcomes and deliverables; coordination of meetings; and development of project reports and presentations.

Monitoring and Evaluation

Based on specified project outcomes, outputs, workplans and timeframes, EnCompass Consultants works with project personnel to monitor progress and strategize for success. Using a coaching approach, we provide constructive feedback and utilize collaborative, solution-focused analysis and problem-solving tools as needed. Our evaluation methods are innovative and geared towards surfacing good practices as well as lessons learned and, whenever possible, we use a participatory approach to identify recommendations for next steps and future endeavours.

Capacity Development

When working with an organization or group, the team at EnCompass Consultants looks for opportunities to support that organization's capacity development in any or all project phases. Staff learning opportunties can be included, formally and informally, as part of project planning and implementation.
